Artist Statement
My art is a vibrant tapestry of colors and cultural influences, reflecting the rich textile of my life spent in various countries, with a particular nod to my experiences in African markets. As a textile artist, my passion lies in the intricate worlds of weaving and crochet, where I bring my creative visions to life.
My approach to art making is marked by spontaneity; there is no planning guiding my creative process. Instead, what truly matters to me is the act of creation itself and the connection I share with the materials. Every step of the artistic journey brings me immense joy and fulfillment.
Through my art, I invite you to embark on a visual journey that mirrors the whirlpool of my life.
